The Reaves Firm Announces Merger and Leadership Changes
MEMPHIS, TN – Lee Davidson, President and Managing Partner of The Reaves Firm, Inc. announced today that McCaskill and Associates, a land surveying and civil engineering firm, founded in 1990, has merged with The Reaves Firm, Inc. McCaskill and Associates will be relocating their offices from Bartlett to The Reaves Firm’s east Memphis location at 6800 Poplar Avenue in the Atrium I building.
Tim McCaskill’s firm has completed over 6,000 land surveys including FedEx World Headquarters, National Civil Rights Museum, Main Street Trolley, and Briarcrest Christian School. His firm specializes in as-built and topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, construction layout and more.
Davidson, who has been with The Reaves Firm since 1976, said, “We are pleased to have Tim and his associates join us here at The Reaves Firm. They make a great addition to our land surveying and civil engineering departments and have always had a great reputation in the engineering and surveying community here in the Memphis area.”
McCaskill added, “We have always respected the work of The Reaves Firm and our shared history goes back to our fathers who were in business together under the name Reaves, McCaskill and Marcom back in the early 1980’s. The Reaves Firm is the only company that I would have ever considered joining.”
Davidson also announced several new leadership roles at The Reaves Firm in the wake of the passing of Harvey Marcom, former President of the Reaves Firm, who died suddenly this past January:
· Greg Bartlett, P.E, will be Principal in charge of Civil Engineering
· Mike Davis, R.L.A. will be Principal in charge of Land Planning
· Greg Marcom will be Principal in charge of Business Operation
· Tim McCaskill, R.L.S. will be Principal in charge of Land Surveying
· Jim Schumpert, R.L.A. will be Principal in charge of Landscape Architecture
In addition, Diane Bearden, P.E. and Trent Harrell, P.E. are now shareholders in the company.
This year marks the 45th anniversary of The Reaves Firm. The firm specializes in civil engineering, land planning, landscape architecture and land surveying. Notable projects include the Thornwood and Glasgow projects in Germantown, the recent Campbell Clinic Expansion, Guest House at Graceland, Graceland West Retail Center, the Orgill Inc. Corporate Headquarters in Collierville, and the new Amazon Fulfillment Center in Frayser.
