Lee Davidson
President and Principal in Charge
Senior Project Manager, Civil Engineer
Our leadership team is led by Lee Davidson, President and Principal in Charge. Lee is the longest tenured employee of the firm, having joined Sam Reaves in 1976 as one of the initial hand-picked civil engineers. He remains heavily involved in project management of major mixed use and light industrial projects, often as a result of decades-old client relationships. He oversees all aspects of site development including due diligence exercises, civil engineering site work packages, construction budgeting and governmental liaison work. Lee is a long-time community leader in his childhood hometown of Rosemark, Tennessee.

Responsible for project management on large scale office, industrial and institutional civil/structural engineer efforts, most of which are “fast track” in nature.
Structural analysis of existing buildings and sitework-related structural engineering.
Joe “T” is a former member of the United States Marine Corp and Tennessee Task Force-1 (TN-TF 1), a FEMA sponsored Urban Search and Rescue organization.
He is licensed in the states of Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, Colorado, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining the firm, Christine Donhardt served as Director of Communications for Agricenter International where she shared Agricenter’s mission with the public through marketing, outreach, event planning, grant writing, and fundraising. Before this, she served as Senior Planner in the Memphis-Shelby County Office of Sustainability. Christine is appointed to the Collierville Design Review Commission, is an elected officer for the TN Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (TNASLA), and serves on the National ASLA Historic American Landscapes Survey committee. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from University of Georgia and a B.S. Biology, cum laude, from Furman University.

Responsible for client relations and the land surveying department. Tim’s company McCaskill and Associates, a land surveying company of thirty years, recently merged with The Reaves Firm.

The Reaves Firm, Inc. was founded in 1976 by Sam N. Reaves, a well-respected local engineer known for his no-nonsense approach to problem solving.
While Sam's technical expertise lay in structural engineering, his love was land development and upon establishment of the firm, he immediately assembled a professional staff geared to that end.
Sam was also a decorated military veteran, having served as a ball turret gunner in WWII in the 101st Airborne Infantry Division, the 379th Bomber Squadron.

Harvey's long and successful career reflected his ability to guide our clients through the technical weeds of a project while maintaining personal business relationships. He joined the firm in 1985 and served as the president until his death in 2021.
With a background in structural and civil engineering, Harvey not only handled the daily management of the company but is also a detail-oriented project manager involved in every aspect of project entitlement and construction.
He was a member of The Engineers Club of Memphis, Rotary Club of Memphis and the Memphis Chapter of Lambda Alpha International where he was the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner.

Past-Principal, Civil Engineering Project Manager
Ron received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Tennessee and his Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Vanderbilt University. After working for Tennessee Department of Transportation as a land surveyor, he spent time with the California Department of Water Resources. In the 1970s, Ron joined Sam Reaves and Harvey Marcom in helping to build what later became known as The Reaves Firm.
He enjoyed over 30 years with the fine team of professionals at The Reaves Firm. His contributions included working on major transportation designs, water resource projects, and distribution center developments.
Ron was also an avid toy train collector and an active member of Germantown Baptist Church.
